Recently, China Mineral Resources Group Co., LTD. (hereinafter referred to as "China Mineral Resources") Zimbabwe Bikita mine supporting photovoltaic power generation project main project construction completed, successfully connected to the grid power generation。
The construction period of the project is 4 months, the investment is 90.88 million yuan, and the designed power generation is 21 million KWH/year。At present, the maximum daily power generation of 80,000 degrees, an average of 5.750,000 degrees, the power generation accounted for more than 20% of the daily electricity consumption of the mine, greatly reducing the cost of using diesel generators (each degree of photovoltaic power generation cost is nearly 1/20 of the cost of each degree of diesel power generation)。With the end of the rainy season in Zimbabwe and the completion of the installation of the energy storage station, it will provide power to the mine more stably and efficiently in the future, and further increase the proportion of new energy consumption。
The project is Zimbabwe's first photovoltaic power station with energy storage, and the first energy system with mains + diesel power station + PV + energy storage。The completion of this project marks that China Mineral Resources has once again implemented the concept of sustainable development in Africa with low-carbon and environmental protection actions, and will play a good demonstration and leading role for the Zimbabwean government and enterprises to use solar power generation。
